Friday Friday Friday!

Hey everybody! It's Friday! If you're not excited, you should be. We have a bunch of events coming up. First, we have the Follow You tour with Brandon Heath, Leeland, and Francesca Batistelli happening on Nov. 4. The one-track demo dropoff deadline for Battle of the Bands has been extended to the weekend, so hurry and get your demos in! The winners will be announced on Nov. 2. And there's gonna be a very large, exciting, amazing prize for the winner of the Battle! Also, the Coastal Carolina Fair is going on until Nov. 7. Way-FM has a booth set up in the exhibition hall. We are Booth 99, near the consessions. Please stop by and visit with us! We also have a contest going on that you can sign up for at the booth. If you enter, you could win 4 tickets to the DecembeRadio concert on Dec. 5 at Northwood Baptist Church (WOOHOO!!!!!).

Alrighty, so we know that everyone gets tired of hearing bad news going on in the world, so here's a little bit of good news about a very honorable, respectul guy. His name is Brad Gaines. He played football for Vanderbilt in 1989. During the homecoming game that year, he collided with Chucky Mullins. Mullins' neck was broken, but Gaines got up without a scratch. Gaines visited Mullins in the hospital, where Mullins told Gaines it wasn't his fault about the accident. Gaines continued to visit Mullins until two years later, when Mullins died because of a blood clot in his lung. And now, Gaines visits Mullins' grave 3 times a year to clean it up, clear the weeds, talk, and pray. Gaines claims that he will do that til the day he dies. Most people that commented on the article at aol.com said that we definitely need more people like Brad Gaines in the world.
