Hawk Nelson/Amy Grant “One Little Miracle”
O.K. before you head off to watch the video for Hawk Nelson’s current radio hit “One Little Miracle” we’ve got to share other Hawk news. They’re making a difference with their “One Little Miracle” campaign in multiple facets. Each part of the campaign will benefit the Hands & Feet Orphanage in Haiti.
They’re also joining forces with Toms Shoes, an organization that gives one pair of shoes away for every pair purchased. For every pair of shoes sold through this relationship, Toms will give $8 back to the Hands & Feet Orphanage.
Let’s get to why you’re really reading this post and that is a few months back they got Amy Grant (yes…that Amy Grant) to do an alternate version of their current radio hit “One Little Miracle”. Check it out.

(CDs will come with a card enabling fans to download the additional songs for free.)
“We're excited to hit the road and get back to some of our favorite clubs and theaters.”
"We took a quick breather after Warped Tour, and now we're headed back to Nashville to track a couple of Christmas songs and rehearse for the upcoming Uncle Fest Tour," says Matt Thiessen, Relient K's lead singer-guitarist-pianist, who was featured on the cover of Alternative Press' August issue. "We're excited to hit the road and get back to some of our favorite clubs and theaters."
After five full-length albums (including 2007's Five Score and Seven Years Ago, which debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200), five EPs and 10 years as a band, Relient K took a look back and a look ahead with The Bird and the Bee Sides. Released in July 2008 and entering The Billboard 200 at No. 25, the 26-song collection included an assortment of b-sides, demos and rarities culled from the Relient K archives plus 13 brand new tracks. -- ©2008 CCAUTHORITY.COM BREAKING NEWS

Switchfoot To Drop “The Best Yet” On Nov. 4th
It’s hard to believe that Switchfoot has yet to release a ‘greatest hits’ project, but all of that will change on November 4th when they release “The Best Yet”. This new project will pull together Switchfoot’s history representing all six albums they’ve recorded on their own indie re:Think Records and Columbia Records.
In addition to the songs, the Deluxe Edition of “The Best Yet” will feature 14 videos, including not only its huge MTV/VH-1 played hits, but also rare and never before released for sale videos, “The Blues,” “Happy Is A Yuppie Word” and “Company Car.”
Although more than a dozen of the tracks on “The Best Yet” are drawn from Switchfoot’s Columbia years – “The Beautiful Letdown”, “Nothing Is Sound” and “Oh! Gravity” – the collection also reflects on the band’s earlier years. After playing only a handful of gigs around Southern California as Chin Up, the band was signed to Charlie Peacock’s new indie label, re:Think Records in 1997.
